In 2015 I started my photography study in Amsterdam, which meant taking the 7am train multiple times a week. I often would see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The days were fun, challenging and sometimes pure exhaustion. I tried to capture the feeling I had every time I was on that train. It was like a moment of silence in a chaotic world. I've always loved traveling because I never really felt at home in the city I grew up in (and still live in). So for me, every time I catch a train, it feels like a new chance to find a home somewhere else.
